Ollie Hirst

Hello, I’m Ollie.

I’m a conceptual illustrator and graduate from Norwich University of the Arts, now working and living in Manchester, UK.

Suffice to say, illustration makes me tick. Though it’s the not the only thing that does. I’m a life-long cardiac pacemaker patient. So, whilst I put my heart into all my projects, sometimes it gets help from time to time. I have a natural affinity to science and the human body, but I tend to just love subjects that I can get my teeth into. Drawing underpins everything I make and recently, I’m enjoying working fully digitally using an iPad Pro. I aim for my work to be idea led and the concept usually drives it. I believe it’s important to keep it playful and I strive to move into different domains where illustration can be a tool to inspire, inform and educate. My work tends to span across editorial, advertising and publishing, but I’m all ears to any brief.

I would love to do more collaborations and I’m always looking for interesting people to work with.

Let's work together!
